An award persentation ceremony was held at TUNKU DOME, KOMTAR on 4th Apr 2009 ( 12.00pm sharp) This is a recognition moment for those who achieved the excellent results in their SPM & STPM examination in year 2008.
There are 160 SPM candidates who received cash of RM200 each and 46 STPM candidates who received cash of RM300 each on this memorable occasion.
All these awards & money were distributed out by Penang State Goverment . Penang Chief Minister Mr Lim Guan Eng was present to give an encouragement speech to all the candidates. He was not hesitant to ask the candidates to have a dream on their own.
"Today Candidates is Tomorrow Leaders",
Mr Lim Guan Eng proclaimed that, It is so important to have such a wonderful occasion because it might encourage students to be more optimistic to acheive their goals in future.
Finally, he wished that all the achievers must have determination to succeed. They may put more effort to fulfill their dreams & have a better tomorrow in their life .
